How Restorative Yoga Changed My Life

Recently I took the Restorative Yoga teacher training course. I knew that I would like the course but I had no idea how much. This powerful and transformative yoga practice was life changing for me…doing this daily for two weeks completely changed my whole body…a deep relaxation took over my body, mind, and spirit…something it has not experienced before on this level…I can also report that my energy has increased since I started regularly doing this practice along with a clarity of mind. It became abundantly clear that while my body most certainly needs to move it also needs to be still…by bringing this restorative yoga into my life I have found the perfect Yin and Yang balance.

 

Restorative Yoga

A series of passive yoga poses that stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system. When stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system it benefits the whole body. It takes people from the stress state to the relaxation state. Now doesn’t that sound heavenly…if you really want heavenly then I highly recommend incorporating it into your weekly yoga practice. Even if you only fit one class per week in I promise you will reap the benefits.
